Parents CAN Forum

Parents CAN Forum Parents can often be the best resource for other parents who have children with similar issues. The Parents CAN Forum is designed to provide parents with a networking opportunity to share concerns, successes and resources. This site is not intended to provide a forum for one position or another. To gain access, please provide your name, email, age and diagnosis of your child, and acknowledge agreement with the Parent CAN Forum guidelines. Parent CAN Forum Agreement Parents CAN Forum participants agree: 1) To honor HIPPA regulations and not divulge personal information of any student. 2) To respect the confidentiality of all participants. Specific cases/issues discussed on this forum are not to be discussed with members who are not a part of this forum. Even when referring to your own child, please do not use personal descriptors that would violate your child’s anonymity. 3) To share information and resources, and offer support and encouragement to one another – not necessarily opinion. Site administrator will shut down any politicking and/or attempts to persuade individuals in regards to particular services or supports. Participants are encouraged to connect with each other outside of the Parents CAN Forum to pursue more robust discussions in that direction.
