We Can Forum

We CAN Forum Join other educators and those who serve individuals who receive special education services in this confidential forum designed to offer an opportunity to share experiences, challenges, and suggestions. To enter the We CAN Forum you will need to provide the system administrator with your name, title and school/program. We welcome participants to use an email that is not affiliated with their current position as confidentiality is important if we are going to open an opportunity for open and honest dialogue. Our system administrator will need to confirm your professional status with you and will then provide you access. This site will be monitored by the system administrator only for appropriateness of content. Guidelines: We CAN Forum participants agree: 1) To honor HIPPA regulations and not divulge personal information of any student. 2) To respect the confidentiality of all participants. Personal emails can be used to provide more opportunity for anonymity. Specific cases/issues discussed on this forum are not to be discussed with members who are not a part of this forum. 3) To share information and resources, and offer support and encouragement to one another – not necessarily opinion. Site administrator will shut down any politicking and/or attempts to persuade individuals in regards to particular services or supports. Participants are encouraged to connect with each other outside of the We CAN Forum to pursue more robust discussions in that direction.
